On November 15, 2016, the delegate from Shenzhen Tiochew businessmen with more than 20 people, visiting Tio-Chew association of Thailand ,the both sides expressed the best wishes to enhance on mutual exchanges whatever in the fields of business and the other projects, hosted by the new chairman Dr Huang expressed the warm welcome to all guests at spot, it was so good example set up to strengthen friendship in brotherhood, all Tiochew people have been dwelling in the world, with a mission on the shoulder to cherish the culture of Tiochew, hand by hand ,they do the best in building up higher platform for further cooperation, being as a part of Chinese descendants, making the sharp voice for being strong Chinese at home and abroad.

MEETING WITH CHALLENGES

On September 19, 2016, the 2nd press conference held by ATTA to deal with issues over Chinese market matters in regards of the present regulations and laws implemented by the government of Thailand, at spot seated with the distinguished top leaders from TAT and Ministry of Sports & Tourism of Thailand, listening and reflecting to questions raised from ATTA members for the present tourist situation of Thailand, with more than 200 guests awhile,[Zero Dollar Tours] operation have been seriously disturbed in Thailand by bringing out the negative images of Thailand to the outside world, in this assembly, all would expect the solution could be sought out and consensus made into settlement through mutual communication.

On September 19, 2016, There was the conference themed as [ DESTINATION WEDDING PLANNER CONFERENCE ]，run by TAT, on the stage, with the speeches made by the governor of TAT and minister of Thailand National Tourism and sports, both highly praised over the most prestigious advantages of Thailand ,which has owned rich and colorful folklore customs and as well as cultural history, competitively, Thailand has superior aspects ,surrounded by the nice geographical environment, Thailand offers the delicacy in Thai cuisines and smile, by attracting the attention of the newly –weds from all over the world to spend their honeymoon ,at the conference, with about 100 guests and media invited ,Thailand will be the host for Destination Wedding Planner Congress.

On September 15, 2016, led by the Danish chamber of Commerce in coordination with many foreign chambers of commerce, such as Danish-Thai chamber of Commerce ;Finnish–Thai chamber of Commerce; South –Africa Chamber of Commerce; Singapore-Thai chamber of Commerce ; Swiss–Thai chamber of Commerce; French-Thai chamber of Commerce ;Mexican Thai chamber of Commerce ; Norway-Thai Chamber of Commerce & Swedish–Thai Chamber of Commerce and a Yangon based economic research [THINK-TANK] ,with more than 40 guests to be invited on seats, initiated by the director of Dr.Charlie of DTCC, making the debut by welcoming four speakers to run the topics on [THE ROAD AHEAD], by sharing their individual ideas on [RISK ADJUSTED OPPORTUNITIES],to figure out the prospects of investment & environment in Myanmar, under the discussion, the participants presented their own viewpoints, within two hours, it was end to the seminar.

NEW REGULATION TO LAUNCH UP

Recently, Thailand government launched up the series of the measures and regulations to fight against [ZERO –DOLLAR] group tours operating between Chinese tour companies and Thai tour agencies, the illegal operation being made severely for long term have been disturbed in Thailand and brought out the negative image to Thailand, therefore, as so to combat with the tourist chaos, Thailand so far has enhanced its premium quality on tourist market.

On September 14, 2016, Thai Association of tourist agencies[ATTA] run a major assembly on theme of [MEETING WITH CHALLENGE AND RESPOND TO NEW LAWS], the invited members were totally estimated 200 in presence at spot , many members spoke actively and expressed their own viewpoints toward the newly-issued regulations, furthermore, they wished that Thai government would considerably grant them a response from the expression overall in the conference and slow down on its implementation to the new measures.

In end, the mini-size press conference was held by ATTA to call up Thai media at spot for delivering its own idea and mind through the multi-channel, ATTA thought that they would extend their all members’ voices by presenting feedback to the related regulation makers of Thai government.

Among the tourist association of Thailand, there is a new one appearing so freshly and within short times, it has won the reputation over its merits, that is named as the association of Thai tourism marketing [ATTM],In the Thailand’s tourism industry, possessed with its nice results, gradually recognized by TAT and ministry of sports & tourism of Thailand and private sectors, based on market positioning, with the aid of modern high-tech, opening up innovative mind, the ATTM’ goals focus on the large area of Thailand with the theme of building up the marketing strategies among the private sectors in setting up the partnership, since its establishment. It has made significant achievement over its colleagues and partners, Therefore, here is abstract of interviewing content in which paying a visit to the new President of ATTM—Ms Sutassa Laohongkait, having a face to face talk over her experienced business and the management to ATTM.

As she quoted that says the association had established the clear objectives in long term, with the implementation into the comprehensive marketing to Thailand as specified; on commitment to be carried out in 4 M: MP– product marketing; MM– marketing media ; MT– marketing on trade; MO—marketing online in Thailand, the function of ATTM has shiftily brought out new role in working with more innovative ways, such as the measures are made into Thailand through the marketing strategy and networking with aid of targeting up by stretching up in whole tourist market, at present, the most important task that the new President has to undertake is to realize the target so further and better according to ATTM’ plans, she has owned with the rich experiences in business for many years and social networking, she and her husband are handling with large enterprises such as the hotels, resorts ,the chain shops and entertainment city in Thailand, we strongly believe that she will be leading ATTM into the bright prospects.

NO CORRUPTION TRADE WITH TRANSPARENCY

On September 7, 2016, the seminar was jointly run by JFCCT and the national anti-corruption Committee of Thailand[NACC],together seated with more than 50 invited guests from NACC, JFCCT, the heads of foreign chambers of commerce and the officers from the foreign embassies and ambassadors to Thailand.

During the meeting, aiming at the overviews of Thai government anti-corruption situation, the high ranking officers from NACC—Mr.Surasak expressed his viewpoints on Thai law and regulations to fight against bribery and corruption; sharing his own experience with the audiences by making introductions of those methods and measures to fight against corruption and bribery, all efforts have been made into achievement and effects to Thai society; after that speeches made and followed by the president of JFCCT—Mr. Stanley Kang and others speaker from the guests openly and actively presented their own experiences over the issues of anti-bribery and anti-corruption, all participants were eagerly looking forward to seeing more powerful policies and strategies to reduce the risks soon, finally, with the summary to be included as:

1st : Assessing the risk of the state official bribery;

2nd:the prevention of bribery must be importantly restrict from the senior officers;

3rd:the measure must be made into clear details to fight against bribery ;

4th: the measures must be applied into operation of business and related to the juristic persons;

5th:the juristic persons must be conducted in the good financial system;

6th:the juristic persons must issue out the restrict regulations to fight against bribery;

7th:the juristic persons must evaluate and check up the practices of anti-bribery without pauses;

8th:the juristic persons have establish healthy measures for protectors against bribery.

The entire seminar lasted for 4 hours, fully setting in the friendly atmosphere.

THE DUAL COOPERATION ON VET BETWEEN GERMANY AND THAILAND

On September 9, 2016, jointly run by German Thai Chamber of Commerce hand in hand together with the Ministry of education of Thailand, there was the international conference themed on Dual Vocational Education and Training[VET],with purpose of promoting the occupational education and training system to Thailand ,in the meeting, the invited top guests from the ministry of education of Thailand ;the ministry of education of Germany and German Embassy to Thailand as well as CEO and president of Mercedez- Benz in Thailand and with the directors of GTCC seated together on the stage.

In the morning, the meeting focused on the current situation and overviews of Thailand’s vocational education as far as the objective futures, the top guests separately from both nations, sharing their own views through practical analysis, accompanied with the audiences more than 200 people. While looking forward to the prospect of the Thailand’s vocational education and training in the context of dual cooperation , all attendants were full of the expectation and with great hope, in particular, with aids of revitalization of Thai economic development, so far evidently ,Germany remaining at top level, there has been proudly sound on VET frameworks that provides the worldwide to large and medium-sized local and foreign enterprises, Thailand requires so necessarily to meet with rapid and urgent demands from the domestic and international markets by offering the large numbers of skilled workers to fit with German and Thai enterprises, the emphasis focused on how to improve and better Thailand’s VET level; secondly: how to apply the modern technological system and framework from Germany into reach of Thai colleges and their own approaching system.

In the afternoon, there were three sections where the lectures were made into workshop, respectively instructed by the experienced German professors to interpret the methods and initiates so detailed to the participants along four hours, in end it was so enriched with fully educational and functional effects to the all listeners in the mind.

THE SWEDISH FILM FESTIVAL ON SHOW

On August 16, 2016, sponsored by the Embassy of Sweden to run the press conference on the fifth Swedish film festival, with nearly hundred guests invited at spot including Thai media, on the stage, the speech made by the higher ranking officers from Swedish Embassy, who highly praised of the deep friendship promoting between two nations, the event aimed at strengthening the bondages in the fields of the cultural exchanges; whatever in length and width, the ties would be enhanced further on.

There will be seven contemporary Swedish film released on September 9 to 11 in the major theatres of Thailand.
