On December 26,2025 the Embassy of Kazakhstan to Thailand in collaboration with TAT, held a press conference to announce the launch of airline SCAT routine from BKK to Shymkent,totally up to 23 weekly direct flights between two countries, Shymkent-the third largest city of Kazakhstan ,The ambassador and president of aviation highlighted the importance of opening up new routines which will significantly promote new prospects and an unlimited future. Kazakhstan is named as Central Asia Corridor, serves as a key transit hub for ASEAN to Europe, it offers an essential bridge with its unique Eurasia continent, Kazakhstan is rich in natural resources, mining, livestock products,tourism,etc, The opening up of multiples flights will be predicted to increase cargos and tourists greatly.
