On February 27, 2025, the old england association held its 91st-anniversary commemoration and Buddhist chanting ceremony within the association. nine monks were invited from one famous thai temple to play chanting , bestowed with blessings on its prosperity upon the event.

This association, honored by the Thai Royal Family, is a non-governmental organization recognized as Thailand’s oldest academic association. Unlike chambers of commerce or regional business associations, it is purely an alliance of students who returned from studying in UK to contribute to Thailand’s development. The association fosters strong bonds, promotes its social roles at home and abroad, serves as a bridge for communication, and upholds its mission as goal of serving the country and building up the future.

Currently, the association has over thousands of members, spreading across various industries and different regions within Thailand, by making significant contributions to the country’s economic development and infrastructure.

Today the ceremony was filled with serenity of buddhist chanting, the harmonious presence in nature, creating an atmosphere of happiness and fortune. Under the leadership of the young new-generation president, this prestigious Thai higher education association, renowned overseas, is now entering a new milestone as it celebrates its 91st anniversary.

Among the distinguished guests at the ceremony were presidents from various associations, including The association of thai students to Australia, the association of thais to Chinese universities , the Thai allumnis club of Harvard University, and the association of Thai students to Japan.

Today, these individuals serve as professors at Thailand’s top universities, high-ranking executives in renowned enterprises, and leading as entrepreneurial elites. they added vibrant colors and values extraditionary to Thailand’s rapid progress and development, while also making linkages between Thailand and other nations. Together, they continue to write down a magnificent new chapter on term of international exchanges in new modern era.
