On 28 September, 2015,there was a dazzling ceremony held at the Impact Muang Thong Thani, on Sunday night, from 117 Thai enterprises received from the kingdom’s top tourist awards in recognition of their contribution to upgrading the standard of quality, professionalism and service in being Thailand’s largest foreign exchange generating economic sector.

Ranging from spas to home-stays, community-based tourism associations to national parks and animal protection institutions, the winners of the Thailand Tourism Awards were specifically judged on the criteria of highlighting Thai culture, protecting the environment and contributing to society.

The governor of TAT —Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn and H.E. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, Minister of Tourism and Sports, separately delivered at the opening speech for 10th Thailand Tourism Award, and handing the trophy over to 117 individual winners.

On August, 2015 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) on Friday (28 August, 2015) welcomed Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn as the new governor. His official start date is 1 September, 2015.
