FOR A THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR
For a third consecutive year, Chef Gaggan Anand (Gaggan, Bangkok) receives the dual awards for The Best Restaurant in Asia, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna and The Best Restaurant in Thailand, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna
The record number of entries on the 2017 list means that Thailand now ties with China, Japan and Singapore who each have nine restaurants in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna. The 2017 awards ceremony took place at W Hotel Bangkok on 21 February with an audience comprising some of Asia’s most influential chefs, food writers, industry VIPs and members of the media.

There was a grand assembly jointly held by ATTA and THA ,in which the topics focused on the review over past achievement 2016 and the prospective of the upcoming 2017; while on spot with attendants over 500 from both associations whose presidents made speeches separately on the video show with aids of the charts and statistics in figures, to illustrate the outlooks to the viewers by large and deepen understanding the contents of Travel Mart Worldwide 2016 from Ranking lists, included Five Top Inbound Travelers[China-Mainland,Russia,Vietnam,Korea,India] as source of large number of income to Thai tourism.
Fortunately, the meeting being run on occasion of celebrating the arrival of Chinese Chicken Year 2017, with the invited vice premier and Top Officers from ministry of tourism of Thailand who made outlines at home and abroad, all finally extend the best wishes for Thailand as far as the oversea in yielding out the good fortunes and prospects set forth.

There was annual regular members’ assembly run by the Thai Chinese EXIM Association [TCEA] on January 21, 2017. With more than 100 members and heads gathering at spot together, Mr. Xu Maochun chaired over the meeting, on while, the election was made on poll to elect out Mr. Kittipong Taeratanachai as 25th president of session, the whole meeting lasted for 3 hours to come in end.
