THE HONORY CONSULS SEMINAR& LUNCHEON

On March 14,at Emerald hotel ,Bangkok, there was a particular luncheon & seminar held by The Honorary Consular Corps Association[HCCA] with the theme on the overview of rules, responsibilities and practical protocol for Honorary Consuls, on the seated from the Special guest speakers, Mr. Virasakdi Futrakul—Assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Isorn Pocmontri—-Ambassador attached to the Foreign Ministry of Thailand.

Together the invited guests also presented at spot from Mr. Paniti Vasuratna–Honorary Consul of Cyprus; Mr. Chamnarn Virawan—Honorary Consul-General of Iceland; Mr. Chavarat Charnvirakul—Honorary Consul-General of Papua New Guinea; the speeches making separately by Mr. Virasakdi Futrakul and Dr. Sribhumi Sukanetre—Chairman of HCAT and Honorary Consul-General of Monaco; as well as Mr. Isorn Pocmontri and Mr. Sanan Angubolkul—Honorary Consul-General of Maldives and Mrs. Netra Ruthaiyanont—Honorary Consul of Uruguay.

EU & EUNIC HAND IN HAND TOGETHER ENHANCE THAI TOURISM

On March 2, 2016,there was a cocktail party titled as [Thailand-Europe In Sharing a Common Cultural Heritage],at British Club in Bangkok, this event was the project initiated by the European Union and EUNIC, to focus on European architectural influences over Thailand, where there have been still evident in numerous historic monuments, old buildings and interesting sites and surrounding areas，good for local and international tourists, the enhanced edition of the European Heritage Map, as well as the Heritage Trails will be presented .

The preserving these attractions that are contributed to promote and enhance the cultural and heritage of tourism in Bangkok，the European Union is seeking to boost this type of tourism, while supporting Thailand’s image and pride.

In early March 2016 , at Emerald hotel in Bangkok, There was a Networking& Reporting party by TCTA , the invited guests from the governmental tourism organizations, including the former director of East Asia section of TAT and former President of ATTA, etc., with more than 200 people attending the party night.

The Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA) held the meeting on 25 February, 2016, in the Grand Meroz hotel, there was a special lecture focused on the topic [The Inbound Business connecting with the Tourist Trends in 2016] by Dr. Adith Chairattananon and Hon. Secretary General of ATTA, all seated members received the reports that would be predicting the situation at present and in future.

EXPLORE CHINESE MARKETING

on Tuesday 23rd February 2016, the Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce in close collaboration with Institute for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ISMED) and SIAL CHINA, will hold a seminar on Opportunities of Thai food products in Chinese market, the seated guests from the Thai food exporters and manufacturers, at spot the speeches were made by a scholar of a Thai university and the leaders of the organizers broadly on basis of the Chinese marketing analysis.

On February 21, 2016, during the period of Chinese New Year, there was a warm party held by Taiwan Association of Thailand, making the year of monkey so uniquely, on the stage, accompanied with the performance from the pop singers and dancers of Taiwan, with more than one thousand Taiwanese seated in a big hall, where there were decorated with warm feeling of festival in celebrating the exciting hours, the audience getting together in large and with cheer.
